IINTRODUCING: THE FIRST FASHION FILM BY FAHRENHEITA
The journey of an idea; from its origin to its culmination.
In May 2024 I decided that I wanted to tell a story through audiovisual media. From the beginning, FAHRENHEITA adopts a mysterious, strange and subtly shameless tone; this was my starting point for my story.
I set to work and recruited a team of friends whom I admire greatly as people and professionals; the great thing about having talented friends is that you trust that they will understand your vision and best of all, that they will be able to feed it from a different perspective.
From May to July, together with my friend Diego (without him this material would not have been possible) we were creating and polishing the story, scouting locations, doing camera tests, recruiting talents and collaborators for styling, audio and photography. Finally in August we started production.
It's amazing what persistence, the right people and a vision can accomplish. While the story seemed simple on paper, organizing and manufacturing is a whole other matter. There were many factors that slowed down the process: rains, low budget, schedules that didn't match, playing director, producer and art director at the same time, etc. but in the end it was done. One day after the last day of production, Diego left for Cuba for the rest of the year. I thought that against all odds, from a distance we would make the post-production... it didn't happen.
As soon as Diego returned in December we got together to edit material that would eventually become the following:
Paula, a detective who goes around the city starts to follow a case that so far, has claimed three victims in a somewhat strange way. What is it that ties each of the cases together?
